Privacy Policy

This policy explains what 鄂尔多斯市千程跨境电子商务有限公司 (Ordos Odyssey Cross Border E-commerce Co., Ltd.) — referred to here as “we” — does with personal data in connection with the website at oduse.site. It is written in English only. Where a translation is provided elsewhere for convenience, this English text governs.

1. What this website collects

This website has no contact forms, no account registration, no analytics scripts, no advertising trackers, no third-party embeds and no cookies. We do not build profiles of visitors and we do not sell or share visitor data.

Our web server keeps standard access logs, which are generated automatically by the server software. These may contain your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, the referring page and your browser's user-agent string. We use them only to operate and secure the site, and we do not attempt to identify individuals from them.

Your language preference (English or Chinese) is stored in your own browser using localStorage. It is not a cookie, it is never transmitted to us, and clearing your browser storage removes it.

2. When you email us

If you write to contact@oduse.site, we receive whatever you put in the message: your email address, your name if you give it, and the content of your enquiry. We use it to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation.

Email sent to an @oduse.site address is delivered through a third-party email forwarding provider (ImprovMX) and then into a mailbox operated by a third-party email provider. Those providers process the message in transit as part of delivering it. If you would prefer not to use this channel for sensitive information, please tell us and we will agree another route.

3. Legal basis and purpose

We process the data described above to respond to enquiries you initiate, to operate and secure the website, and to keep records of business correspondence. We do not use it for advertising, profiling or automated decision-making.

4. How long we keep it

• Server access logs: retained for up to 90 days, then deleted or overwritten.
• Email correspondence: retained for up to 24 months from the last message in the thread, unless a longer period is required for an ongoing business relationship or by law.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing. The only third parties that process data on our behalf are our hosting provider, which operates the server that serves this site, and the email forwarding and mailbox providers described in section 2. We disclose data to authorities only where we are legally required to.

6. International transfers

We are established in China. The server that hosts this site and the email providers we use may be located in other jurisdictions, which means data you send us may be processed outside your own country.

7. Your requests

You may ask us what personal data of yours we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to contact@oduse.site with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We will respond within 30 days. Because this site collects no account data, in most cases the only data we hold about you is the email correspondence itself.

8. Children

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will change the effective date at the top. We do not maintain a mailing list, so we cannot notify you individually; the current version is always the one published here.
